Website Contest Rules

  1. You may enter the contest by completing the entry form online at www.gomoncton.com by clicking on the Enter our Contest icon. All entry forms must be completed in full and accurately or the entry form will be invalid and no Prize will be awarded if drawn. All entries submitted become the property of the City of Moncton (the “City”) and will not be returned to entrants. The City will not be responsible for entries which are illegible, or have been delayed, stolen, misdirected, lost or destroyed through any acts or omissions of the City or other persons.
  2. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. There is no regional allocation of prizes. The Prize is not transferable and no exchange for cash or other items of value is permitted. The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received. The contest is not open to officials, directors, officers or employees of the City, Corporate Communications Limited (“CCL”), and their immediate family members.
  3. Entries will be accepted until the last day of each month when the contest closes. A random draw will be made at Moncton City Hall thereafter and the winner will be notified in a timely manner.
  4. The winner will be contacted by telephone. If the winner cannot be reached within 30 calendar days of the draw, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and a new winner shall be drawn. The winner must accept the Prize at a destination which is regularly serviced by national couriers.
  5. The City may use the information on your entry form to send you information about the City and events, activities and other opportunities in the City. If such use of your information causes you any concern, please contact the City at 1-800-363-4558, 655 Main Street, Moncton, NB, E1C 1E8.
  6. The winner will be required, prior to receiving the Prize, to sign a declaration and release form confirming compliance with these contest rules and acceptance of the Prize awarded. The City shall not be liable in any way for any injuries or harm caused by any use of the Prize.
  7. The City reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to make substitutions equivalent in kind and value to the Prize in the event that the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the City.
  8. The City shall have the right to publish the name, address and photograph of winners for publicity purposes as deemed appropriate by the City. All winners shall cooperate with the City to arrange for photographs on reasonable notice from the City.
  9. The City reserves the right to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time.
  10. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
